This 120 year old building has been family-owned for more than three decades. For many years the 2nd floor was home to Scene by Scene™, one of Toronto’s premiere mid-sized post-production (editing and animation) facilities.
Clients never stopped raving about the amount of natural light that fills the space, and how 259 Danforth Ave was a hidden jewel in the heart of Toronto’s Greektown.
Rylan Kinnon is part of the family’s 2nd generation and the managing partner in Danforth Creative Commons. As someone who has been involved with three startups, Rylan saw this space as the perfect place for creatives to work in an environment that promotes creativity.
DCC is already home to the startup, SpacesShared, a very creative approach to student housing, and Medri Kinnon Productions, a company that produces documentaries and marketing videos for the broadcast technology sector.
As well, the main floor of our building features Bok Play Café, a family-run business that compliments DCC. Bok’s delicious food and fabulous coffee provide tasty sustenance on the main floor. And their indoor playground and learning centres will put a smile on your kids’ faces. Work upstairs at DCC while your kids have a blast downstairs.
Often referred to as one of the best kept secrets on The Danforth, DCC is easily accessible from either the Chester or Broadview subways. It’s also easy access to some of the very best restaurants in Toronto — as it’s in the heart of Greektown. And for music lovers, the Danforth Music Hall is a stone’s throw east.
Beautiful light-filled space. Easy access to transit, bike lanes and the Don Valley Parkway. Located in the heart of Greektown.
As a boutique shared working/co-working space, you get to deal with the owners of DCC - rather than a large corporate entity.
Work in the space when it meets your needs.
Whether working in the recording studio, board room or just getting a great coffee in the kitchen - we pride ourselves on providing high-end equipment to meet your needs.
